My background and what I do now

I am currently the CEO and founder of Iceberg Digital. We provide marketing software to real estate agents. I have over 20 years experience as a successful entrepreneur, I am the author of the best selling business book ‘ Where did my industry go?’ and my company has won multiple awards for technology, marketing and digital transformation over the past 9 years and works with small independent businesses right through to National and International Brands. Right now we are working with 1000’s of traditional UK agents to transform them into more digital and data driven businesses, as this is the only way that we believe traditional agency will exist in the next 5 to 10 years. Our bigger vision is to modernise the industry in both the UK & Overseas and give them one central source of deep information in their business.

I’m 42 years old, married with two beautiful children, live in the peaceful Hertfordshire countryside and love travelling, making new memories with my family and Manchester United. However, that’s not all I love. I have a real passion for property and the property market in general. I love technology, and will always look for ways whereby new technologies can be introduced to the property market through Proptech, updating the industry and educating estate agents. I’m currently on a journey to bring all of my 25+ years of knowledge in property, marketing and digital marketing to traditional estate agency in order to modernise the property industry and show these agents that, although they may not realise it, they are currently sitting on the brink of a huge opportunity in their sector and one unlike any that has gone on before.

I have worked as an agent, as an advisor to agents, and I have helped countless agents to gain a better understanding of their business and techniques used in other sectors to help them improve their companies. I am also a regular Proptech speaker at numerous national and international events in the property sector such as The Negotiator Conference, The Auction House Conference, The Hunters National Conference, The UK PropTech Association Awards Ceremony and speak quarterly at various Estate Agency X events.

It is safe to say my first true love was anything property related and the estate agency sector in general. Corny, I know, but true. And as any experienced agents out there will know, once that is in you, it never really goes away and my passion to help this industry not just survive but thrive is what drives me each day.
